Gateway to the Nullarbor
Ceduna
The last major town before the Nullarbor, famed for its oysters and remote coastline.
Ceduna marks the western edge of the Eyre Peninsula and the gateway to the vast Nullarbor Plain. A working fishing and aquaculture town, it is celebrated for its annual Oysterfest and its access to pristine, isolated beaches popular with anglers and surfers. From here travellers can explore the Head of Bight to watch southern right whales in season, or stock up before the long drive west across the Nullarbor.
