Sheltered Fishing Haven

Venus Bay

A tiny holiday and fishing settlement on a protected inlet, with a famous pelican-and-dolphin foreshore and rugged cliffs nearby.

Venus Bay

Venus Bay is a postage-stamp village on a near-enclosed inlet, beloved by anglers for its whiting and garfish and by everyone else for its mellow pace. Pelicans patrol the jetty, dolphins work the channel, and the dramatic Needle Eye and South Head lookouts sit just out of town. It is the Eyre Peninsula at its most peaceful.
