Fitzgerald Bay
A long, calm beachfront north of Point Lowly lined with shacks and camping spots, popular for fishing and gulf sunsets.
Fitzgerald Bay stretches north of Point Lowly along the upper Spencer Gulf, a quiet shoreline of shacks, foreshore camping and easy beach access. The water is calm and shallow, ideal for launching a boat or casting a line for whiting and snapper.
The bay is also part of the gulf's aquaculture story, with leases offshore, and its remote, big-sky setting makes it a favourite for fishing trips and laid-back camping away from the crowds. Facilities are basic, so come self-sufficient.
