Long Beach Coffin Bay
A long, sheltered sweep of white sand within Coffin Bay National Park, ideal for a calm-water swim, a beach drive or a sunset stroll.
Long Beach lives up to its name — a broad arc of pale sand on the protected side of the Coffin Bay peninsula, where the water stays calmer than the wild ocean beaches further out. It is a favourite for families, swimmers and anyone who wants the beach to themselves outside the summer peak.
Four-wheel-drives can access parts of the foreshore, and the gentle gradient makes it good for launching small boats and kayaks. At dusk the whole bay turns gold, with the Coffin Bay township lights flickering across the water.
