The friendly waterfront of Streaky Bay — a jetty, a sandy swimming beach and a foreshore caravan park that anchor town life.
The hub of the west coast
Streaky Bay's foreshore is the social heart of the far west coast — a calm, sandy beach, a long jetty perfect for fishing and jumping, and a foreshore caravan park steps from the water. The bay is sheltered and shallow, ideal for families and easy swimming.
The town itself is welcoming and well serviced, the natural base for exploring Murphy's Haystacks, Point Labatt, the Talia Caves and the surrounding surf coast. A famous local landmark is the cast of a record-breaking great white shark caught in these waters, a reminder of the wild ocean just beyond the bay.
