Tumby Bay Murals
A Seaside Town Turned Gallery
An internationally significant collection of large-scale murals painted across Tumby Bay as part of the Colour Tumby street-art festival.
Street art by the sea
The quiet east-coast town of Tumby Bay has become an unlikely street-art destination, thanks to the Colour Tumby festival. Each year, leading mural artists from Australia and overseas transform walls, sheds and silos around the town into a free, open-air gallery of striking large-scale works.
The murals draw visitors from across the country and have put Tumby Bay firmly on the cultural map. Following the self-guided mural trail through the town — between its historic jetty and white-sand foreshore — is a delight, and the collection keeps growing with every festival.
