Donington Beach

A sheltered, shallow swimming beach near the tip of Lincoln National Park, with calm clear water and granite headlands.

Tucked near Cape Donington at the eastern end of Lincoln National Park, Donington Beach is a pretty, protected curve of sand where the water stays calm and clear. The granite headlands at either end shelter the bay, making it a fine spot for a swim, a snorkel or a quiet picnic away from the surf.

It is one of the more accessible beaches in the park, reached on the sealed and well-formed road out to the lighthouse, and it is a popular stop on a day trip from Port Lincoln. Bring everything you need, as there are no services nearby.
