A town turned gallery
Colour Tumby has transformed the quiet seaside town of Tumby Bay into one of South Australia’s most surprising street-art destinations. Held biennially (every two years), the festival brings together acclaimed Australian and international muralists to paint large-scale works across the town - on silos, water tanks, walls and shopfronts.
What to expect
Over a long weekend the town hums with live painting, music, food and family activities as new murals take shape before your eyes. The accumulated works form a permanent, free outdoor gallery that draws visitors year-round, anchoring Tumby Bay’s place on the wider Eyre Peninsula art trail.
